Service Quality Guarantee

HSC is committed to providing high-quality services. If you are not completely satisfied, please notify our office within 24 hours of service. Additionally, any reappearance of spots, odors, or other cleaning-related issues must be reported within 5 days of service.

Customer Acknowledgment of Risks

By accepting this estimate/appointment, customer understands the following risks:

  • HSC is not responsible for pre-existing defects in rugs, upholstery, or carpets.

  • The customer accepts HSC’s assessment of the item’s condition and releases HSC from liability for defects that become visible after cleaning.

  • Rippling can occur under certain conditions even when carpet is properly installed.  Adhesive that holds the backing together can absorb moisture and expand. In most cases, this rippling will disappear within 72 hours.

  • Stain treatment is performed to the best of our ability, but certain stains (e.g., fruit juices, artificial sweeteners, pet urine) may not be fully removable. Some unseen stains may darken after cleaning.

  • Pet related odors may result from the release of fungus or bacteria during cleaning. A specialized pet treatment is recommended in such cases.

Cancellation Policy​
  • Our minimum fee is applicable under the following circumstances:

 

If you cancel or reschedule your appointment with less than 24 hours’ notice.

If our technicians are turned away for any reason initiated by the customer.

Area Rug Cleaning

HSC utilizes warm water extraction to clean rugs, which the customer acknowledges may lead to certain risks, including:

​

  • Potential damage, such as shrinking, fiber deterioration, or trapped soil.

  • Changes in texture, including rippling or stiffening, depending on the rug’s material and quality.

  • Fading, color variations, or dry rot, which may not be visible before cleaning. HSC is not responsible for pre-existing conditions that become apparent after cleaning.

  • Possible damage to underlying surfaces (e.g., hardwood floors) if rugs remain damp post-cleaning. Customers should take necessary precautions to protect water-sensitive flooring.

While we take every precaution to minimize these risks, HSC cannot guarantee complete prevention of damage or assume responsibility for any adverse effects caused by the cleaning process.

Payment Terms
  • Payment is due at the start of service.

  • A $50 late fee will be applied for unpaid balances.
